Islamic architecture is one of the world’s most celebrated building traditions. Islamic Architecture finds its highest expression in religious buildings, especially in the Masjid, which is the center of Islamic culture and society. Not only is it a religious space intended for worship, it is also a place for lively discussion about topics relevant to daily life. We witness nowadays the emerging of Islamic cultural centers, which cover the need of the society needs. While there is much diversity in Islamic religious architecture, several main design concepts and types evolved and developed to convoy the trend. This does not mean that the Masjid architecture conserved the classic look, but at the opposite, it went far to the extreme modern look and skin, which enriches our repertoire with different contemporary religious buildings.
